Headlock
ARTIST: Imogen Heap
I first discovered Imogen heap in 2024 when her song “headlock” went viral on TikTok. I had heard her iconic music prior but had no idea her name was behind them. My favorite album is “Speak For Yourself”, I feel like the use of layered sounds with the intense bass in certain parts sets this above the rest.
Runner up goes to Frou Frou, another album produced by Imogen Heap and Guy Sigsworth released in 2002.
